Tony Michels, PT, DPT, OCS, CSMT, Partner

Tony is one of the founding partners of Therapy Partners. He originally opened the Flower Mound location in 1999. Today he spends his time focused on the day to day operation of the partnership but you can still find him in the clinic on a limited basis doing what he loves. Tony grew up in southern Minnesota where he was a multi-sport athlete and avid outdoorsman. He received his undergraduate degree from Winona State University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University in 1997. Tony is a board certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy (OCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is a certified manual therapist (CSMT) through ISPI. Tony treats all orthopedic conditions with a hands-on approach combining manual therapy, functional exercise and patient involvement; all backed by the latest research, which yields favorable outcomes for his patients. Tony and his wife Candice live in Argyle. In the fall they spend their time traveling to watch their sons, Blake and Brandon, play college football.
