Therapy Partners of North Texas in Denton is located near I35 off of West Oak Street between Texas Health Presbyterian and the West Oak and Hickory Road split. Being in such close proximity to the hospital we do our best to get patients in within 48 hours of the initial request. Chad Womble, PT, DPT, Director – Denton 

Chad is the clinic director at Therapy Partners of North Texas at Denton after starting as a staff therapist at the Heritage Trace location in 2016.  Chad was born and raised in Rocky Mount NC and attended undergrad at Florence-Darlington Technical College and NC Wesleyan College. While he was attending both colleges he pitched for the baseball team and graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science. He went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from East Carolina University in 2016. During his clinical experiences he spent 8 weeks at the Texas Rangers rehab clinic (TMI Sport Medicine) working with varying levels of skilled athletes from a wide range of sports. This is when he fell in love with Texas and decided to move to Fort Worth and join the Therapy Partners of North Texas team.

Chad enjoys implementing dry needling, and manual therapy into his practice. He enjoys working with all orthopedic conditions, but particularly enjoys working with cervical and lumbar conditions, as well as athletes. With his background in pitching and pitching mechanics he specializes in the overhead throwing athlete and throwing mechanics.

He is married to his wife Chelsea and they have two kids together Carly and Colton. Chad’s hobbies include going to the Rangers baseball games, woodworking, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.
